Faculty Bio
Dr. White has over thirty-five years experience in healthcare organizations in clinical, administrative, governance, and consulting capacities. Thirteen years were with Mercy Health Services as senior executive in marketing, operations, and international healthcare consulting. From 1995 - 2001, Dr. White served as the Associate Director of the MHA and MSHA Programs at VCU and from 2001 - 2008, he served as the Director of the MHA Program. He served as the first Charles P. Cardwell, Jr., Professor of Health Administration from 2006 - 2009. Dr. White is a Registered Nurse, Fellow and former member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a joint appointment as Professor of Nursing at VCU and Visiting Professors of the Luiss Guido Carli School of Business in Rome, Italy, and the Swiss School of Public Health, in Lugano, Switzerland.
