Faculty Bio

Dr. White has over twenty years experience in hospitals as clinician, administrator, and consultant. Thirteen years were with Mercy Health Services as senior executive in marketing, operations, and international healthcare consulting. Dr. White is a Registered Nurse, Fellow and member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He serves as a Visiting Professor of the Luiss Guido Carli School of Business in Rome, Italy

Research Interests

Non-profit healthcare organizations; Catholic hospital ownership, organizational identity.

The strategic direction of the health professions, particularly nursing and health administration.

Hospital response to provision of end-of-life care.

Hospital design and hospital history.
